Winner Piano Studio- Events Calendar

***SPECIAL EVENTS 2011-2012***

All lessons and events are held at the Winner Piano Studio
unless otherwise stated.

Sunday September 18th: Back to School Party:

3:00-4:15, ALL STUDENTS: Make new friends, catch up with your old friends and get back into the piano lesson routine at this first performance and fun event of the school year. Perform a piece on the piano, make and eat ice cream sundaes, then head outdoors to decorate the driveway with chalk art masterpieces. (Rain date: September 25th.)

Sunday, October 23rd: Halloween Party:

6:00-7:30, ALL STUDENTS: Performances of Halloween music, followed by refreshments and Halloween shopping.
WEAR HALLOWEEN COSTUMES.

Saturday, October 29th:

2:00: Performance for residents at South River Health and Rehabilitation Center, 144 Washington Road, Edgewater. Music brightens lives! All students have the opportunity to perform this valuable community service. WEAR HALLOWEEN COSTUMES.

Saturday, November 19th: Fall At The Mall:

Anne Arundel Music Teachers Association's annual all-day performance marathon at Westfield Annapolis Mall:
Invite your entire family and all your friends to hear you play in public!

Sunday, December 4th: Ensemble Workshops:

4:00-5:15: Girls, ages 7-12
5:30-6:45: Boys, ages 10-12
7:00-8:15: High School Students

Sunday, December 11th: RECITALS:

3:00 and 7:00: FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED. (Details in November)

Saturday, January 28th and Sunday, January 29th : Dinner Parties

6:00-? FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. Potluck dinners with ongoing musical entertainment by students and Mrs. Winner.
(Snow dates: Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th)

Sunday, March 11th: Ensemble Workshops:

4:00-5:30: Girls, ages 7-12
5:30-6:45: Boys, ages 10-12
7:00-8:15: High School Students

Sunday, March 25th: "45 Years of Teaching" Party:

2:00-6:00: Students and their families (and other guests) are invited to celebrate this milestone event at a big Open House party.
Enjoy some "larger than life" keyboard cake and other goodies. Background music will be provided by students.

Sunday, May 6th: Ensemble Workshops and Pizza Parties:

4:00-5:30: Girls, ages 7-12
5:30-6:45: Boys, ages 10-12
7:00-8:15: High School Students

Spring Recitals:

Small group performances featuring solos, ensembles and students' original compositions. FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED. (details in April)

Saturday, July 28th: Anne Arundel Music Teachers' Association's Annual Water Music Festival: 10:00-? at Truxtun Park in Annapolis: Performances of music on a "water" theme, followed by a pleasant afternoon of snacking and swimming. FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
